Confessio Papam Romae
I am shackled to the chains of an unworthy cause. My every motion, every ounce of energy my body could possibly muster, is channeled into completing the task laid before me. A child's puzzle, elegant in its simplicity, holds me behind bars. I see a thousand solutions to the puzzle, each true and impossibly false. My mind and soul toil away at uncovering the deeper meanings of the words and actions demanded by the puzzle. My energy is spent and my mind filled by the idea which lies before me.
I see my future split into two paths. In the first, I remain burdened with a gilded yoke, driven by a master I cannot understand and prodded by an overs
